Open Farm has initiated a voluntary withdrawal of select lots and products. From Open Farm:
Recently, our quality control process identified limited instances of small pieces of soft plastic film in select lots of five Freeze-Dried Raw Morsel Recipes for dogs and our Front Range Ancient Grains RawMix Recipe for dogs. After a thorough investigation, we have concluded that this quality issue is unlikely to cause any adverse health consequences for pets. We have received only one consumer complaint on this issue and no injuries have been reported. As a precautionary measure, we are voluntarily withdrawing the products listed below that are impacted by this production issue. We are acting swiftly to ensure the products we provide pet parents meet our high standards for product quality.

Affected lots in our store
We had two affected lots in our store and they have been pulled from our shelves:
- Farmer’s Table Pork Freeze-Dried Raw Recipe for Dogs – 22 oz (received in October, last sold in September)
- Pasture-Raised Lamb Freeze-Dried Raw Recipe for Dogs – 22 oz (last sold and received in early November)
Based on the date last sold and the date we received them, it’s unlikely that we actually sold any affected product. But as always, please check the lot numbers on any bags you may have, whether they were purchased from us or not. If they were purchased from us, you can stop in or contact us to return them.
